Governance
Leadership and Accountability
KESI (Knowledge Exchange for Social Impact) is committed to transparent governance and accountability. Our leadership structures ensure that our work remains people-centred, ethical, and aligned with our mission to bridge the gap between knowledge and action.
Organisational Structure
KESI operates with a flat, collaborative structure that reflects our values of equity and inclusion. Key decisions are made collectively, informed by input from programme participants, community partners, and stakeholders.
Registration Status
KESI is in the process of formalising its organisational status. As part of our 2026–2029 strategy, we are working towards formal registration as a not-for-profit organisation. This page will be updated as our registration is completed.
Accountability Principles
- Transparency
- We are open about our funding, decision-making processes, and organisational operations.
- Participation
- Those affected by our work have a voice in shaping it. We actively seek feedback and input from participants and communities.
- Ethical Practice
- We commit to non-extractive engagement, respecting the knowledge and time of everyone we work with.
- Learning and Improvement
- We regularly evaluate our programmes, share lessons learned, and adapt our approach based on evidence and feedback.
- Safeguarding
- The safety and wellbeing of participants, especially young people and vulnerable groups, is paramount in all our activities.
Financial Accountability
KESI is committed to responsible stewardship of resources. As the organisation formalises, we will publish annual reports detailing how funds are used and the impact they achieve.
